Cancellation & Reservation Policy

Reservation Payments

  • A deposit of 50% of the total reservation is required at the time of booking.

  • The remaining balance must be paid 30 days prior to check-in.

Cancellation Policy

  • 60 days or more before check-in: Guests may cancel and request either a credit toward a future reservation (valid for up to 12 months) or a refund, subject to approval and processing fees if applicable.

  • Between 30 and 60 days before check-in: Guests may re-schedule their reservation, subject to availability. No monetary refunds will be issued.

  • Less than 30 days before check-in: Reservations are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled. In exceptional cases (medical emergencies, force majeure, or travel restrictions), requests may be considered at the discretion of the host and must be supported with written proof.

Re-Scheduling

  • Re-scheduling requests must be submitted at least 30 days prior to check-in.

  • Deposits will be transferred to the new dates, subject to availability and any applicable rate difference.

  • Credits are valid for 12 months from the original check-in date.

Damage Deposit

  • A security deposit of $500 USD is required and will be held until 10 days after check-out.

  • The deposit is fully refundable after inspection of the property, provided no damage, excessive cleaning, or policy violations are found.

  • Extra charges may apply for:

    • Deep cleaning required due to misuse of the property.

    • Stays involving pets that require special cleaning, replacement of linens, pillows, or furniture.

    • Any other extraordinary damage beyond normal wear and tear.

Refunds & Payment Terms

  • Refunds, when applicable, will be agreed in writing with the host after check-out.

  • Refunds are processed using the same payment method used for the reservation (bank transfer, card, or PayPal).

  • All rates are in U.S. Dollars (USD). Exchange rates or bank fees are the responsibility of the guest.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Costa Rica.
