By booking a stay at Casa Pakal, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. These policies are designed to ensure fairness, clarity, and a pleasant experience for all guests, while also protecting our property.
A minimum stay of 2 nights is required.
A reservation is only confirmed once the required deposit is received.
Payment methods accepted: bank transfer, credit/debit card, or PayPal.
All rates are in US Dollars (USD).
Check-in time: from 3:00 PM on the day of arrival.
Check-out time: until 11:00 AM on the day of departure.
Early check-in or late check-out may be available upon request and could be subject to availability and additional charges.
Guests must respect the property, neighbors, and local community.
Smoking or vaping inside the house is strictly prohibited. Any violation will result in a $200 cleaning fee to restore the property for the next guest.
Maximum occupancy must be respected as indicated in the reservation.
Parties, loud gatherings, or disruptive behavior are not permitted.
Guests are responsible for safe use of the swimming pool and all common areas. Children must be supervised at all times.
Casa Pakal is not liable for accidents, injuries, or loss of personal belongings during your stay.
Pets may be allowed only with prior approval and under specific conditions.
Extra cleaning fees may apply if pets cause damage, odors, or require special sanitation (e.g., disposal of cushions, blankets, or furniture).
A refundable security deposit of $500 is required.
The deposit will be refunded within 10 days after check-out, following inspection of the property.
Any damages, missing items, or extraordinary cleaning requirements (e.g., deep cleaning due to misuse, pet damage, or smoking violations) will be deducted from the deposit.
Cancellations made 60 days or more before check-in may be credited towards a future reservation, provided the new booking is requested at least 30 days in advance.
Cancellations made within 30 days of check-in are non-refundable and non-reschedulable, except in extenuating circumstances submitted in writing with proof. Approval is subject to host’s discretion.
All credits or refunds must be confirmed in writing by Casa Pakal.
Guests must provide valid identification, full name, email, and phone number upon booking confirmation.
Personal information is stored securely and not shared with third parties.
Guests may request deletion of their personal information by emailing: reservations@casapakal.com
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Costa Rica.
Any disputes shall be resolved under Costa Rican jurisdiction.
Casa Pakal reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The latest version will always apply.
